A beautiful birthday day

It was a beautiful day today for my birthday.  Jim is out east so we played at Grandma and Grandpa's in the oddly warm December weather.  Jasper and Reija went sledding, made a snow fort, and a snow reindeer.  Jasper had a great time and Reija was ambivalent about whole thing.  I am a lucky mama.

Gluten free dairy free pancakes make reija so happy she spontaneously giggles while eating them. She just ate 3 pancakes. That's a lot.

Reija has the stomach flu (I'm going out on a limb and saying that being barfed on is not my favorite part of being a parent) so Jasper and I went to see Santa tonight.  He was very excited and asked for "Buzz Lightyear and Woody and a new barn for my sister who is sick."
